LRA Recruitment 2026
The Office of the Director of Land Records & Surveys, Assam has released a recruitment advertisement for Land Record Assistant (LRA) posts. A total of 579 vacancies are available under the District Commissioners' establishments in Assam.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have passed the Recorder Certificate Class Course Training from the Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon, Guwahati-19, and must have been declared proficient in the mandated examination by the official authority. Additionally, candidates must have computer typing proficiency of at least 30 WPM in English and 15 WPM in Assamese/Bengali.
Age Limit
The candidate must be between 21 to 40 years of age as on 1 January 2026. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the Assam Government rules.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on a Written Examination and Skill Test (Computer Proficiency), followed by document verification for shortlisted candidates. The written test will carry 80 marks and consist of objective-type MCQs.
